Known as a hot and dry city, Kupang apparently has several beaches that can be used as an alternative tourism because of its location which is located close to the city center. One of them is Lasiana Beach that began to open as a tourist attraction for the public in the 1970s. This 3.5 hectare sloping beach is adorned with about 65 coconut trees and 230 palm trees lining the stretch of white sand beach.
